Joe Biden has decided not to run for president again in 2024. Instead, he is supporting his Vice President, Kamala Harris, and has asked Democrats to back her campaign.
In a letter to Americans, Biden said being president was the “greatest honour of my life.” He explained that although he had planned to seek re-election, he believes it’s better for the country and his party if he steps aside to focus on his current duties. He urged Democrats to unite and support Harris to defeat Trump.
